Christina Kernohan, Photographer

It was a night of highbrow arts and discussion on Leith FM and who better than Andrew and Pauline to keep things highbrow.  The night began with some delightful chat from Christina Kernohan.  She had joined us to discuss her current exhibition Gammel Butikken at the Saint.  She journeyed all the way to the Norwegian arctic circle to take pictures of a traditional old store and captured some haunting images.  She also provided us with some great chat.

Lesley Logue, Visual Artist

Next up was visual artist Lesley Logue.  She discussed the techniques and inspirations for her work Beautiful Trophies. You can see her work on display at the Edinburgh Printmakers Gallery until the 24th of October.  Her exhibition is in the primitive instinct of the hunter and the relationship with the kill which makes for fascination viewing and discussion.

Here she is with her beautiful boy who gave us great chat in the green room.
